The Lian Li PC-V2120B (X version is pictured to the above) is a case well known amongst PC enthusiast for it’s ability to fit the largest motherboards available at the moment. Namely the EVGA SR-2. (The sheer awesomeness which this motherboard possesses causes small countries knees to quake) Lian Li is a company well known for it’s all aluminum cases and their exacting standards in terms of quality and features. Lian Li is the Porsche of the computer case world. I’m a huge fan of simplicity. I think a simple design is an elegant design. Leonardo Da Vinci was known for saying, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. I believe this case exemplifies this mindset.
Some of the features of the case are:
5 x 5.25 Bays
10 x 3.25 Bays (13 if you use the adapter to convert 3 5.25 Bays)
USB 3.0 x 4 / HD Audio / E-SATA x 1
11 expansion slots
2 x 120mm fans
3 x 140mm fans
On top of this the case is designed for toolless installation. Thumb screws are used liberally. (Huge plus)
They have also included pre-cut ports for fans on top of the case if you so wish. It also has a built in fan controller, all intake ports have filters to keep dust and debris out, and the wheels are lined with a rubber strip to help prevent slipping and include a locking mechanism.
